ETHOS

Using narrative as the conceptual drive, we create unique interiors that tell a story through materiality, mood, and all the nuanced things that live within. Being collaborators, our focus is on meaningful conversations with clients, allowing them an opportunity to be a part of the design process from the onset. It is just as important to capture the function of a space, along with a unique and memorable experience that helps tell its story.

COLIN TURY, PRINCIPAL

Colin is an award-winning designer whose work bridges furniture, lighting, interiors, and branded environments. He began his career in New York as Furniture and Lighting Director at AvroKO after earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College for Creative Studies. He went on to receive his Master of Fine Arts from the Herron School of Art and Design, where he honed both craft and conceptual thinking.

Back in Michigan, Colin established a practice designing custom furniture and lighting for private clients and hospitality projects, developing a tactile understanding of how objects shape space. At Shinola, he expanded into product and retail design, leading efforts across stores, audio, and lifestyle categories. In recent years, his focus has turned toward interiors, creating branded spaces that balance narrative and function. His projects emphasize custom furniture, fixtures, and lighting as tools to define identity, evoke emotion, and create environments that resonate on a human level. His work has been recognized in Architectural Digest, Hospitality Design, Dwell, and Designboom.

PAIGE SCOGGIN, DESIGN DIRECTOR

Paige focuses on creating environments that are both practical and engaging. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College for Creative Studies and began her career in New York City at The Morris Project, a boutique hospitality design studio. Since returning to Detroit in 2020, she has worked alongside Colin, bringing a thoughtful, narrative-driven approach to every project. Her work emphasizes the use of design details to define identity and create experiences that feel memorable and authentic. Drawing inspiration from everyday life and the stories behind spaces, Paige strives to balance functionality with strong visual impact.

MONIQUE ROSS, JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

Monique combines a sophisticated understanding of composition with a commitment to both beauty and function. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and began her career in Detroit working with a MillerKnoll furniture dealership. She then transitioned inside Detroit's vibrant restaurant industry, falling in love with the art of hospitality, and the deep role interiors play within personal experiences. Her current works focus on intentional detailing, layered materials, and conscious space planning.
